3/1 Woke up at 6:00am, I had to make phone calls to take care of my personal stuffs regarding to the move, and of course a lot of other for the work. I was expecting some rain but did not happen during the day time. A tornado watch was issued (I think first time this year?) here. Alabama got hit pretty well. Come home early from work to talk to apartment management to take care of paperwork. Went to bed around midnight. The daily high of 51F, which was pretty warm
3/2 Woke up at 6:00am, I could not get out from my apartment due to assignments, but I was able to visit client by noon. I stopped by at my coworker's place to talk with the mover for his house to setup an appointment. Stayed at work until 7:00PM and headed back to Indianapolis. Had evening just relaxing, that's what I needed...
3/3 Woke up at 8:00am. Must been snowed over night, there were a layer of snow covered the ground. Worked out at home in the morning then headed to Sakura Mart, Office Depot and Meijer for groceries and other items. Flurries observed throughout the day, sometimes looked hard because it was breezy. Went to bed around mid night.
3/4 Woke up at 8:00am. It was 17F. I guess it is still cold even in March. A few more snow on the ground as I looked outside in the morning. I spent morning relaxing but went out for running in the afternoon. It's been a while since I ran the trail nearby.

3/5 [11th anniversary of coming to the U.S.]
Woke up at 6:00am, stopped by a bank and CVS Pharmacy before heading to work to make a deposit for the new apartment. I had to go to a post office to send it via express mail, also. I thought about cooking noodle but someone took hotpot out of the office kitchen, so I had to go out and eat at Subway... Spent whole day at office, come home around 7:00PM. Headed to gym after dinner for work out, The day started around 20F, with high of 40. Expecting tomorrow low be 15F, it's going to be cold again.
3/6 Woke up on time. The outside temperature was 15F, just as predicted. Wow. Went to work but realized I completely forgot about the appointment for moving estimate so I had to reschedule for tomorrow. Stayed at work and left office at 5:30PM to get myself time to pack. Headed to bed around midnight.
3/7 Woke up on time. Because I saw trace of snow on the radar last night, I was expecting to see some snow on the ground but I did not. Had appointment with a mover for the estimate, so I had time to go out and take a walk. After I got the estimate, I drove to visit client, but had to come back home again to get power cord for my laptop PC... Refueled my car on the way. Had early lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Because I had my gym class starting from 7:25PM, I had to start driving back to the apartment right after the office hour. The class had a lot of practice sparring so I was pretty much out of breath, and muscles are aching. Headed to bed at 11:30PM.
3/8 Woke up but my body was completely tired. Able to go work on time but I had to care about body ache all the time. My, I need to work out more... Had lunch at office, just getting ready for the moving while completing my daily tasks. Left work at 6:00PM and come home. Going to bed around 10:00PM for the first time in a while. I need to go to Michigan for a business trip so I made reservations on car and hotel. It was a sunny day and the left over snow is melting at pretty good pace. I called SBC for changing the address, called Duke energy to shut the power off by 3/30. Also called DTE energy to activate electricity at my new location.
3/9 Woke up at 6:00am, went for a morning walk before going to get a rental car. They had a 2007 Honda Accord which only had 6 miles on it so I took it for the test drive. I arrived at the office around 1:00PM, after stopping at a Burger King which is at different location than I usually eat. Stayed at office until 6:30PM, and went to a Japanese restaurant with 30 more other Japanese staffs. The party finished around 10:00PM, and I went to the hotel straight to get some rest.

3/10 Woke up at 6:30am, worked out for about half hour before grabbing breakfast. Left the place and stopped by Best Buy to buy a new home phone. My current one does not have speaker phone function so I needed that feature. I used my $40 off coupon on it. Stopped by Mr. Pita for lunch, and began driving back to Indianapolis. I stopped at The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum to see a bunch of classic cars. It was pretty much educational for me. Come back to Indy by 5:00PM, returned the car and headed back to home. Took evening easy because I was pretty tired. I called home in Japan in the evening. My mom was not there so I talked with my dad for about half hour.

3/11 [Daylight saving time begins. Perfect North Slopes closing for the season at 5:00PM]
Woke up at 8:30am. The daylight saving time has started so I had to adjust my clocks (I think I got them all...). Went for a walk in the morning before my lunch. I also went to grocery shopping. I had not much things to buy because I will be moving very soon. Spent afternoon packing and cleaning. I had to take some dirt off the carpet and walls. The day time becomes very warm and sunny so I see no more snow around. People playing golf. Spent evening for more cleaning and packing. Going to bed around 10:00PM.

3/12 Woke up at 6:00am, but fell back sleep and did not wake up again until 7:00am. First weekday after switching the time is always like this... Went to visit client and stayed there until 6:00PM. Drove back in a warm, sunny weather. It made me sleepy and of course it was not only due to the sun, but also a weird feeling of 1 hour difference. It was 32F in the morning and up to 60F during the noon. It was cold again in the evening but only goes down to 45F. Expecting the temperature up to 70F tomorrow with chance of thunderstorm in the evening... Went to gym in the evening for workout, and come back. Going to bed around 11:30PM.
3/13 Woke up at 6:00am, went to take a walk in the morning then headed to work. I had to take care of a bunch of office errands since I need to catch up for the past couple of days. Left work at 6:00PM, it's so good to be driving back home with sun up. I spent evening working on my assignments. I did not go bed until 11:30PM again.
3/14 Woke up at 6:00am, stretched my body and then drove to Hertz location to get a rental car. I got a Camry this time. Drove to an office which is 1.5 hours away then continue drive to other office which took me another 4.5 hours. Worked on my assignment until 11:00PM so there aren't much places I could get my dinner. Stopped by at Bennigan's near by the hotel I am staying. The rain turned to snow by midnight.
3/15 Woke up at 6:00am, managed to worked out at the fitness center in the hotel. The rain over night turned to snow so the surroundings are covered with thin layer of snow. Went to work and start working on my assignment, very much spend whole day in a car until 8:30PM. Went to a Thai restaurant for lunch, went to Bennigan's for the dinner since I left work at 10:00PM, not much place is open.
3/16 [March Madness begins!]
Woke up at 6:00am, but did not wake up again until 7:30am. I arrived to the work late, thanks to the all hard work this week. Went to a Japanese restaurant with bunch of other coworkers for the lunch. Left office around 2:00PM to start driving back to Indianapolis. I have come back to home after 7:00PM too tired so I did not do anything for the evening so with hesitation, I went to McDonald's for the dinner. Took care mails and other stuffs, then going to bed before 10:00PM.  Called an electric power company to shut it off.
3/17 Woke up at 7:30am, I am glad I had enough sleep for the first time this week. It was cold again so the surface of water pond in front of my apartment was frozen again. Went to gym in the morning then a post office, hair cut and carwash. I even had a chance to take a walk in the outside. I just appreciate having a weekend day.
I called Verizon Wireless, my cell phone service provider, and found out that the new phone which was supposed to be here by now, was deliver to a dormitory of Wichita State instead. I am getting a replacement soon but I wonder of two problems. One, the Verizon still have my old address for shipping, although I updated my billing address. Two, the apartment at school signed off the package without checking if the person still live or not. Oh well.
I also called the web hosting service for my site, and have my space and bandwidth upgraded from 800MB, 4GB to 200GB, 2,000GB for the same price.
In the evening, I did laundry to wash my ski cloths and cleaning and packing for the move. Called home before going to bed. It's hard to adjust the time for the daylight saving time...
Almost the last day of living in this apartment
3/18 Woke up at 8:15am. I had another long sleep. The temperature was 25F when I checked on online but went up to 40F in the afternoon and wind was calm so I did not feel it was that cold. I went to grocery shopping in the morning for the last time here. Had sub sandwich and fajita corn for lunch which I both bought at Meijer. I spent afternoon organizing my stuffs, taking walk in Monon Trail for 6 miles. I found Cooked Japanese seasoned rice for dinner. Going to bed around 11:00PM
I spent a lot of time at this trail, even trained for marathons

3/19 Woke up at 6:00am but I guess the morning was a bit chilly, I did not get out until 7:00am (or simply I did not feel too well). Since I could hear sound of thunder, the first thing I did was to apply Rain-X on the windows of the car before eating breakfast. Rain began falling around 8:00am and On/Off for a while. The rain stopped by noon. I come home around 7:00PM and had dinner before heading to the gym. Come home, took shower, relaxed for a while but still needed to keep up with the company assignments. Going to bed by midnight.
3/20 Woke up at 6:00am but could not wake up again until 7:00am like yesterday. I must be quite sleepy. Went to the office and worked on the assignments. Ate lunch which I prepared. I still need to eat more stuffs in the fridge to clear up. However, it does not mean I can eat more, which will result in gaining a lot of weight... It was not a bad day at all. Just busy until midnight for company assignments.
3/21 I did not wake up until 7:30am. Oops. I did a short stretching then headed out to stop by a bank before going to work. I needed to make a money order to check in the apartment on Friday. I ate my lunch at subway, and saw a family eating at a table nearby. When one of the kid stood up, he make the chair fell backward and made a big sound. The father did not yell and simply stood up and replaced the chair. I think he took care of the things in very good manner. I was expecting him yelling at the kid, though. I learned something today. Spent evening at a gym the last class there before move. I sent them a bunch of tulips and they liked my gift. I had to go to Meijer in the midnight to buy some boxes for the move. Ah... I just want to get done with it soon! Going to bed late. I am sure I will wake up late again.
3/22 Woke up around 6:30am, better than last couple of days. I went to outside to take a walk before heading to work but I had to work at home for about a couple of hours since there were something urgent. Went to work in a stormy weather. Spent whole day there but decided to head back since I have not finished packing. Come home around 5:30PM, the rain has stopped by then. Expecting some more over night. Going to bed around 11:30PM. It's going to be a hectic three days!
I finally replacing my phone!
3/23 [Moving Day!]
Woke up on time at 6:00am. stretched my body and checked the weather on the internet. I was hoping to get the cloudy sky instead of rainy one. At 9:30am, the moving guys arrived and loading was all done by 10:15am, began driving in rainy weather, I prepared a meal last night so I drove without making a stop. I got to the new location around 2:30PM, and finished with paperwork. The truck did not arrive until 4:00PM, but all done by 5:00PM. I drove to the office around 6:30PM to drop off some of stuffs before Monday the headed to get some dinner. The first place I went was totally packed so I decided not to, so I had dinner at Bennigen's. I always wanted to try on their BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Pita. It was good but half pound beef was too much for the day. I checked in the hotel and worked out a half hour, went to bed around midnight.
3/24 Woke up at 6:30am, stretched my body and left the hotel right before 10:00am, I had hard time finding a Japanese grocery store so I only got to the apartment at 11:00am. I began driving back to Indianapolis for the last time. Arrived my old apartment around 4:00PM, I tried to go out and walk but the rain cloud was already reached to Carmel, so I was just cleaning the room, I did not have much things to do in the evening but at the same, I did not have anything left at home already. Went to bed around midnight.
3/25 Woke up around 6:00am because of neighbor's dog was barking loud. I deflated the bed and packed all the stuffs left. I went to outside for a morning walk, very much for the last time at Carmel. I went up to the 146th street and come back, took shower, clean the bathroom. I had to go to Meijer because I did not have few things needed. Come back, had lunch and began loading my personal belongings. The temperature was rising and expecting the high of 80F, so I was sweating during the work. Finish loading, stopped by at the office to returned the keys, start driving around 1:15PM. I did not make any stop so I arrived at my new apartment at 5:30PM. I had to take break, inflating my bed then went to get dinner, stopped by a Kroger to buy groceries for the week. Come home around 9:00PM, called a couple of good friends to let them know that I am done with the moving. Going to bed around 11:00PM

3/26 Too bad for the first night, one of my neighbor's place was a bit noisy for a while, and I did not inflate the bed enough so it was pretty soft. In a few words, I did not get much of sleep. Woke up at 6:00am, I had to make rice so I was busy in the morning. Went to work and stayed until 6:30PM. Headed home but stopped by at Kroger again. Cooked dinner and begin organizing my stuffs but I did not go too far. Put more air the bed. Going to bed around 11:00PM
3/27 [Hitoshi Ueki, a famous old time comedian in Japan died]
Woke up at 6:00am but did not get out until 7:00am, feeling better than when I woke up yesterday. Packed lunch in a hurry and headed to work. I had to reconfigure my PC for the new office so I did not get to work on my assignments too much. I heard thunder in the afternoon then rain began to fall. Stayed at office until 7:30PM, and headed back to my apartment under light shower. It was a bit hard to see so I had to drive carefully. Come home, cooked dinner and prepared some food for tomorrow's lunch. Going to bed around 11:00PM.
3/28 Woke up at 5:30am somehow. I went to outside for a walk for the first time since I have moved here. Went to work and stayed until 9:30PM today. I stopped by a Japanese restaurant since I didn't feel like to cook by myself. Going to bed around 11:00PM. The temperature will drop over night...
3/29 Woke up at 6:00am, the outside was at 35F. I turned the heater on (it's good to know that the rent covers the heat...) I stepped outside to run a bit. I had to go to work early today due to an appointment. I worked until 6:00PM today and headed home because I needed to fill out a form for the apartment. Spent evening just relaxing besides the work I needed to catch up. My room is still filled with a bunch of boxes...
3/30 Woke up at 6:00am, it was lower 30s in the morning. I went outside for running a while, a bit longer than yesterday. Made address changes on organizations and other locations for about 10 places. Spent whole day at office except for coming back to home for completing a checklist for apartment condition report. I come home around 7:30PM, and made a quick dinner. I spent checking emails from my friends replying to me on change of address notice.
3/31 Woke up at 7:00am, it's a nice feeling not need to go work! Went outside for a short running. Done with shopping at Kroger, then headed to a Japanese grocery store. Spent afternoon relaxing, but made food for the next week. I went to Meijer in the evening to get covering for the window. The bedroom is too bright in the night so I needed something. Ate Japanese curry, I made, working on my web page, positioning my furniture a bit. Went to bed by midnight.
