10/1 Woke up at 6:00am, stretched my body and got ready to go work. It was cloudy then began raining around 10:30am. The rain was on and off for whole day. Since I had a day off last Friday, I had so many emails to ready, and respond. Stayed until 9:00PM and headed to LTF for short workout. Rain was falling when I stepped outside. I come home around 11:00PM, had dinner and headed to bed after midnight.
10/2 Woke up at 6:00am, chilly morning. The outside does not get brighter until 7:00am. Dense fog advisory was in effect but did not see any. Cooked rice in before heading to work. Stayed until 6:00PM, Drove home, went to gym for workout. Learned few more skills and get to practice. The surroundings were a bit hazy due to the moisture, maybe rain's coming again.
10/3 Woke up at 6:00am but fell back to sleep and work up again later. Reported to work and stayed until 9:00PM. Drove to LTF for workout, come home, cooked a quick dinner and then headed to bed around midnight.
10/4 Woke up at 6:00am, 48F in the morning, went to work on time stayed until 6:30PM, the latest for the days I have gym class. Got picked on a skill in a class, and everybody in the class had to practice. (Sorry...) Come home, worked on  company assignments since I got call. Going to bed before midnight for the first time in a while. I cannot wait Friday, which is also a payday!
10/5 Woke up at 6:00am but stayed in bed until 8:30PM, too tired working... It started out around 60F, but the daily high hits 86F. Too hot to wear a long sleeve shirt. Went to Aji Ten for lunch. There weren't many folks from local Japanese companies today. Hmmm? Left work around 7:00PM, drove up to LTF for short workout. I went to grocery shopping before going home.
10/6 Woke up at 8:00am, decided to take a day off from everything today. I did not do anything. Only time I went outside was to One World Market to buy rice and other Japanese groceries. The day started around 60s, ended up to 85F. I was sweating like a pig whole day.
10/7 [More than 50 hospitalized in Chicago Marathon due to super hot day of 90F]
Woke up around 8:00am, grabbed a newspaper at nearby grocery store and headed to LTF for swim. I think they sent steam sauna temperature a bit high today... I got out and drove up to a Burger King around 11:30am, they still had breakfast menu shown and no ice in the machine... Stayed at work until 3:00PM, then headed to Best Buy, and Meijer for shopping. I wanted to see iPod Touch($300), but sold out. I got to see iPod Nano($200). I think that's something I can get, but Touch is more futuristic! Coming home, cooked meals and had dinner. I cleaned my room a bit and try to remove dust out of the filter bag of my vacuum, and drop the filter in dumpster. Ohhhh. Wrote emails to few friends, updated the website and went to bed around midnight. Hearing about the news of Chicago Marathon. I hope mine won't be like that...

10/8 [Columbus Day, not a holiday in Michigan]

10/9 Woke up at 6:00am once, fell back to sleep but did not overslept as yesterday. Reported to work on time, had lunch with more than 20 coworkers for a farewell party for a long timer employee at the company. Come back, had a meeting then prepared for the evening meeting. I stayed until 11:30PM, some home after midnight (again...) The road back to apartment was dark, and gusty. No expected rain fell, and I had to skip workout for the second day in a row. Tomorrow morning could be a bit cold.
10/10 [Chrysler hit by strike by UAW, but tentative agreement was made within the same day]
Woke up at 6:00am, went to a dealer to get my car a 90,000miles maintenance. It cost me $1,400 for the all fluid changes and timing belt change. I ended up coming back to the office after that. Stayed until 11:00PM and headed back to the apartment. Going to bed right after that...

10/12 Woke up at 6:00am. Cool weather is always good. Went to work, met with customer driving up to our place. I went to Priya, an Indian food restaurant with coworkers. I met a guy from other company I used to meet at Kokomo. Coming back to the office. I had to talked with few more folks before heading out of the office at 7:00PM. Spent about a half hour and headed to Meijer before come home. I finally bought a wall clock but I thought I should have picked different color since the color of wall and surroundings don't match with that one. I also got a replacement air bed but I did not have battery handy so I gave up. Going to (my original) bed around midnight.

10/13 Woke up around 8:00am, I was quite tired. I went out to swim around 11:00am, Beck road was under construction so I had to wait for 10 minutes to drive on one lane road. The pool was crowded but one of swimmers shared lane with me. Thanks. Stopped by at Office Depot to buy packing materials for work (since I only got out of the office after those stores are closed whole last week) and at Burger King toe lunch. Spent afternoon at office to take care of few things then headed back home (and again, I stuck at Beck road). Relaxed in the evening, not much to do except for enjoying a cool fall day. Spent evening browsing internet, placed orders on used CDs I wanted on amazon.com. Going to bed around 1:00am
10/14 Woke up around 8:00am, it was around40F as the day start. Had break fast, prepared for running at a park and hit the road around 11:00am, there were very few people at the Kensington park, but the weather was nice, though. Stopped by Meijer before coming home, and found the replacement filter for my vacuum at Kroger while picking up Sunday newspaper. The light rain began around 3:00PM, I was taking care of laundry, cleaning, and washing dishes. I had to call Japan office since that's two other coworkers are at, in the evening. Stayed until 7:00PM, then  headed to LTF for workout. The place was busier than usual Friday but not much runners. Rain must have fallen sometimes over the afternoon because the pavement was wet. Coming home, had a can of soup because I did not feel hungry much. Going to bed around 11:00PM. Nappanee, IN where many recreational vehicles, like Gulfstream coach and Fairmount coach, was hit by a tornado. The storm system stretching from north to south here is pretty a crazy one.
10/20 Woke up around 8:00am. Went to swim in the morning at LTF. The pool was quite less crowded today so I had a pretty good swim. Drove up to Best Buy and bought an iPod Touch. I did not feel the need for getting 16GB one since I am not intended store all own CDs or watch movie on it. The device had hard time getting connected for a while, it only shows darker monitor and could not be recognized by my PC. I checked on blogs and there seems to have many folks like me having trouble. In the evening, when I turn the iPod then all sudden the screen gets brighter and everything was okay after that. I hooked it up with my DSL modem and now I can browse the net anywhere in my house. Pretty cool. Called my home in the evening, going to bed around 1:00am.

10/21 Woke up around 8:00am, got up and stretched. I drove up to Kensington Park to run. The temperature in the morning was quite warm and it was already in upper 60s when I get there. The wind was quite breezy but got to enjoy the run. Many trees there had brightly colored leaves. I think it's finally at the middle of fall here. Stopped by at Meijer before coming home. Had lunch, then drove up to Twelve Oaks mall for fall/winter cloth shopping then office for the afternoon. I had to do many catch up things, and although my coworkers are back in the U.S. they are not available to help me out. Man. Took care of very much everything and drove home around 10:00PM. Cooked dinner, worked on web page a bit and hit the bed around midnight.

10/22 Woke up at 6:00am, a bit refreshed, compare to other work weekdays in the past. Went to work on time, and stayed until 7:00PM. I come home but had to work on assignments until 10:30PM. Hmm, no time to get relax. The rain start to fall around 8:00PM and quite a lot by the time I go bed around 11:00PM. Wildfire in CA is getting almost out of control and making zoo animals evacuate. Woke up at 6:00am. Another chilly morning. Went to work on time with orange colored shirt (a kind of company event). A part of the road use for commuting just got a bland new pavement last week, and now they are getting markers. Unlike yesterday, I was able to park near by the entrance but my legs are getting a lot better now. Worked until 7:00PM then hit the road back to the apartment. The rain just began falling as I drove back. Had dinner, and relaxed. Tried to catch up for the yesterday's and worked on my webpage. Going to bed around 11:00PM. Few more days before the daylight saving time start.
The Fed lower the rate by 0.25% again. some news says that lower interest rate will raise the oil price in two ways. One is due to lack of interest on Dollar from foreign countries; result in weak Dollar, and the second is it will push people to invest more so it will drive the economy up.
