3/1 Woke up at 6:00am, drove to George Bush park and rode 45 miles. I had a crash because a guy came too close to me while I was passing. Drove home, took shower and had lunch. I stopped by at JASH office and had a meeting with my counterpart. Left to home and worked on Japan Festival items until 6:30pm then my friend called, telling me that I was supposed to be at a restaurant at 6:00pm. Oops. Stayed until 10:00pm with good chat and nice food. Going to bed after midnight.
3/2 Woke up at 6:00am, stretched my body and headed to Memorial Park around 10:00am for a run. I did for 8 miles then drove to LTF for 3,000yd swim. I think I am taking the good shape back toward the race. Came home around 2:00pm and cooked lunch. I stayed at home until 4:30pm. The outside was cold, cloudy and windy. Dropped off my bike at Bicycle World then had dinner at Wa. While I was eating, rain came. Stayed at home for the rest of the evening, got hungry around midnight and up until 2:00am to get my body adjusted to the night shift. Turned on the heater for the night.
   
3/3 Woke up at 7:00am, the outside was at 29F. Managed to stay in the bed until 10:00am. Stretched my body then begin working on Japan Festival materials. Stayed until 2:30 then headed out to workout at LTF. Drove to work under chilly weather and began my day.
3/4 Left office at 4:30am.The outside was raining pretty good with my car is covered with ice. Stopped by at Kroger before coming home. Got up at 11:00am, found out that there seems to be a power outage but my rice was done. Cooked lunch and worked on Japan Festival materials until 2:30pm. The outside was still raining and headed to LTF for a short workout then drove to work. There was a driver looks under influence on Clay, it was a bit scary.
3/5 [18th anniversary of coming to the U.S.]
Stayed until 4:30am, drove home and went to bed. Woke up at 10:00am, get ready for the day. Cooked noodles for the lunch. Drove to LTF after 2:30pm again. Worked out for 40 minutes then headed to work. Another slow day but I can see the motivation of the line workers are getting lower for sure. Finished as usual at 4:30am and headed home.
3/6 Stayed at work until 4:30am, the outside was partly cloudy and still needed a jacket because it was in the upper 40s. must have rained while I was in the plant. Drove home and went to bed. Woke up around 9:30am then at 11:30am, get ready for the day. Took care a few items then headed to LTF for workout. Drove to work and spent another slow day there but was good to train team members. Left around 4:30am, drove home.
3/7 Woke up at 10:00am, stayed in the bed until 11:00am. Ate lunch and drove to Bicycle World to pick up my bike and rode 58 miles. Drove home and took shower, ate dinner at Wa. Going to bed around 2:00am.
3/8 Woke up at 7:00am, stretched my body and headed to Memorial Park. I was very sleepy and could not stop yawning. Ran for 8 miles then come home. I then headed to Rice University to volunteer for Japanese Speech Contest. Stayed until 9:00pm that's around the time when the rain start. Drove under fairly hard rain. I missed eating carbohydrates, so I cooked rice and stayed up until 1:00am.

3/9 Woke up at 8:00am, headed to LTF for swim since my knees are not feeling well. Swam for 3,000yd then drove to grocery stores. Come home, cooked lunch and spent afternoon organizing stuffs and taking trash out. Cooked rice for the dinner and stayed up until 2:00am.
   
3/10 Stayed in bed until 10:00am, then got up to work on Japan Festival tasks. Stopped by at AAA to pick up maps for my summer trip. I skipped my workout and gave my body a rest. Drove to work and began my day (or night). It was another quiet night.
3/11 Leaving the office around 4:30am, rain was expected but only a trace found on my car. I still feel a bit odd from the time change. Woke up at 9:00am, but stayed in bed until noon. It was sunny and temperature near 70F today. Left home at 2:30pm. Worked out for 30 minutes then headed to work.
3/12 Stayed at the office until 4:00am drove home and went to bed. Up at noon, I must be tired. Had to work on Japan Festival materials until 2:30pm again then headed to LTF for workout before going to work.
3/13 Stayed at the office until 4:00am. drove home and went to bed. Got up around noon. What a day... Worked on Japan festival materials until 2:30pm then headed to LTF for workout. Reported to work as usual. Another quiet night,
3/14 Had to stay until 4:45am to catch up on the work at the office. Come home and went to bed around 6:00am. Woke up at 10:00am, left home after noon and drove to JASH office. Left there before 2:00pm and worked on preparation for Japan Festival, then rode bike 58 miles. After coming home, took shower then headed to Wa for dinner. I finished quick but the car did not start. Drove back home with care, then stayed up until 1:00am before going home.
3/15 Woke up at 7:00am, tried to start my car but no go. Called AAA and got jump start at 9:30am. I drove to a Honda dealer to take care of it. The oil change was due also so everything was completed by 11:30am. I then drove to 288 Lake to try on my wet suit for the first time. It was okay to enter because of the suit but when I dipped my head, I almost panicked. Spent 1.5 hours there and by the time when I get out, rain has been falling pretty well. Drove back toward home on Sam Houston toll road, stopped by at Burger King since I missed that burger for a long time. Stayed at home for the whole afternoon. Went to bed around 2:00am.
3/16 Woke up 8:00am but could not get up, stayed in the bed while listening to the sound of rain until almost noon. Drove to grocery stores under rainy weather. Come home, then headed to Memorial Park for another 8 miles run. The rain was over and the ground was soggy but good enough for running. The only issue was strong wind from the north about 20 mph. Blue Bonnets began to bloom around the park. Drove home and relaxed for the evening. Cooked noodles and rice for dinner, stepped out around 10:30pm to do another grocery shopping. Come home, listening to the Beatles. Spent time reading magazines and went to bed around 2:00am.
   
3/17 Woke up at 9:00am, but stayed in bed until 11:00am. Worked on Japan Festival materials until 2:30pm. Stopped by at AAA again and headed to work. Began my day as usual but because of the production back to normal, it was pretty busy.
3/18 Stayed at work until 4:30am, drove home. Woke up at 11:00am. Worked on Japan Festival materials again until 2:30pm. Headed to  LTF for 30 min workout.

3/19 Stayed at the office until 4:30am, drove back

3/20 Stayed at the office until 4:30am, drove to Kroger under mostly clear sky and bought groceries before coming back to home. Slept until 11:30am, some how my body is pretty tired.
3/21 Stayed at the office until 5:00am before shutting things down. Left work under foggy sky and went to bed around 6:00am. Woke up around 10:30am and get ready for the day. Left home after 1:00pm to JASH office. I then began my bike ride around 3:00pm for about 2.5 hours then come home after 6:00pm. I went to Wa for dinner then met with my coworker and stayed until 10:30pm. Coming home, stayed up until 2:00am then went to bed.
3/22 Woke up at 8:30am but did not quite ready for the day until 11:00am, drove to 288 Lake again. Finished after swimming for 1.8 miles while watching fishes and turtles swim and drove back home. Stopped by San Sao Tofu to grab lunch. Left home again around 6:30pm to drive to downtown for Houston Symphony performance in the evening, which my friend is joining. Tonight's performance was Stravinsky's Pulcinella. and Beethoven's Mass. Finished around 10:00pm then headed to eat dinner with my friend. We stayed at Batanga until 1:30am. I did not go to restroom which was a big mistake since there weren't many places open in that late but managed to use parking garage's security's. I need to be careful next time. Come home and went to bed after 2:00am. People driving like crazy in that late...
3/23 Woke up at 8:30am, drove to Memorial Park around noon for another 8 mile running under cloudy and a little chilly. Drove to grocery shopping to Daido and Kroger then come home. Had late lunch around 2:00pm, relaxed for the afternoon doing several loads of laundries. Rain came for a brief moment around 4:00pm but then became quiet. Another wave came around 7:30pm but it was not too bad. Cooked dinner and other item and went to bed around 11:00pm. I hear the sound of rain while going to bed.
   
3/24 Could not sleep until 3:00am but woke up at 5:00am anyways, drove under dark to the office and spent all day at the plant. I needed to support all lines and stayed until 7:00pm, stopped by my former work place and met my former coworker who is heading home this month. Did not feel like going to workout so I drove back home and stayed up until 11:00pm to work on Japan Festival items.
3/25 Woke up at 5:00am, get ready for the day and headed to work. Arrived at 7:00am and began my day. The power to the plant went down around 10:30am and spent nearly entire morning and afternoon for the recovery effort. I left office around 6:00pm and attended a meeting until 9:00pm for Japan Fest. Stopped by at LTF for workout before coming home. Ate dinner, went to bed at midnight.
3/26 Woke up at 5:00am, drove to work under dark sky. dropped off my car at a car wash nearby work. Left office around 5:30pm, found out that the car wash was closed but there were some people still there so I was able to get my car back and headed toward north side of Houston to pick up my friend. Began eating meals at 7:00pm and another friend joined at 8:00pm. Stayed until 9:00pm then headed to a bar to join with my friends from softball team. Stayed there until 1:00am then took my friend back to the hotel. It's been a long day.
3/27 Came home around 2:30am and went to bed. I woke up at 4:30am to confirm my friend has checked out from the hotel. Drove to work on time and began my day. Stepping out by 6:00pm, walking to my car under misty rain. Drove to LTF for full one hour workout. I was not feeling very well but I needed to get my body back in shape. Drove to Kroger before coming home. Cooked rice and ate dinner. Went to bed around 10:30pm.
3/28 Woke up at 5:00am, drove to work on time and stayed all day. I left office around 3:30pm to beat the traffic and arrived to LTF for pool swim for 2,300yd. I worked out on stationary bike and treadmill for another 30 minutes each before heading to Wa for dinner. As I finished around 7:00pm, I saw a couple of my friends so I joined until 9:30pm. Drove to Kroger and saw the road was soaked by storm passed while I was eating. Relaxed until 11:30pm and went to bed.
3/29 Woke up at 6:00am, stretched my body and took shower. I arrived at local barber shop at 8:00am, but the guy was not there for 30 minutes. Went back home for a quick rinse on my head. I thought it was going to be sunny but now it's cloudy and humid. When I arrived at Memorial Park around 10:00am and made three laps for the last time. The park was having an art fest and had hard time finding a place to park or move around. Shot few pictures of blue bonnet and headed home. I ate noodles for lunch then headed to Bicycle World for bike parts and Daido for groceries. Cooked dinner then stayed up until 10:30pm.
3/30 Woke up at 6:00am, drove to George Bush park for a bike ride before visiting my friends play at a park until 1:00pm. I drove home and had lunch, stopped by at Japanese grocery store to get the credit card charge corrected. They charged me only $7 for $37 purchase... Stayed at home all afternoon taking care of laundries, cooking rice and other items. Going to bed after midnight once done with taking care of emailing.
