9/1 | Labor day, woke up at 10:30am. Stretched my body
and headed to George Bush Park for a bike ride. Come home around 3:00pm and
took shower. Relaxed until evening before going to have a drink with my
friends. I drove to Mongoose and Cobra but then realized the place is
closed. We move to Torche's Tacos. The place was good and enjoyed the
outdoor seating. Drove home and relaxed, cooked curry for the week. Went to
bed around 3:00am. Taco time |
9/2 | Woke up at 11:00am, stretched my body and cooked
noodles for lunch. It was cloudy and rain came around 2:00pm for a short
moment then cloudy again. Stayed until 5:30pm then headed out to work,
realizing the road is totally packed and snailing traffic. Took me 35
minutes to get to I-10 then the rest of the route was just fine. Many
problems over the night but survived. Sunlight |
9/3 | [Mazda introduced 2016 Mazda Miata] Stayed at the office until 4:30am, drove home in warm night air. Come home, went to bed around 5:30am then woke up around noon. Another passing storm around 2:00pm, left around 3:30pm to LTF for work out before going to work. |
9/4 | Stayed at work until 4:30am, drove home, stayed up until 6:00am somehow. Woke up around noon, another cloudy and hot day with some passing rain. Left home at 3:30pm and drove to LTF with traffic jam free (finally). Worked out for 1 hour then drove to work. There seems to be a lot more rain fell in that area than where I live. Began my day as usual. |
9/5 | Stayed up until 4:00am, drove home and went to bed around 6:00am. Woke up at noon, ate canned soup for lunch then headed to chirpractcs around 2:00pm under hot sunny summer sky. The air was dry so I get to roll down all the windows. Come home, worked on my web then headed out again to get haircut before going to work. Get to workout for 15 minutes, took shower to refresh then headed to work. Faced some rain during commute then began my day. |
9/6 | Stayed until 4:30am, then drove home. Woke up at
noon and realized a Japanese tennis player, Kei Nishikori beaten the #1
ranked opponent on the U.S. Open semifinal game. Cooked lunch, stayed until
5:00pm then headed to George Bush Park for a bike ride. It was windy because
of the storm activities nearby but cloudy condition helped me going fast. I
finished just as I began to hear thunder. I then swam for 30 minutes at LTF.
When I went to eat at Wa, the place was packed so I gave up and drove home.
Cooked good chunk of steak and corn. Talked with my dad on the phone in the
evening and went to bed around midnight. Stormy clouds |
9/7 | I could not sleep well, but woke up at 8:00am to get ready for the day. The temperature was already near 90F but stepped out for running at Memorial. I was sweating so hard because the sky did not provide me much of the shade I needed, and even if I did, I felt some hot air pockets on the route. Gave up on running after three laps. Refreshed myself at LTF before heading to Souper Salad for lunch. The rain came down very hard around 2:00pm and lasted until 9:00pm with occasional thunder. Come home after getting groceries at Daido, and stayed all evening at home, working on my web, doing laundries, ironing my shirts, cooking. I went to bed around 3:30am. Total 1.2in reported today. |
9/8 | [Kei Nishikori, the first Japanese to play at
U.S. Open final, took 2nd place] Woke up at 10:30am, get up at 11:00am. Today is still cooler than the usual, and sunny. Stayed at home until 3:30pm then headed to LTF for workout. I get to watch the first set of U.S. Open tennis final but needed to go work. Drove under normally congested road to the office then found out that my coworker was picked for jury duty. Rather busy day today. |
9/9 | [Apple to unveil iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus, as
well as iWatch] Stayed until 4:30am, and drove home under full moon with clear sky. Went to bed at 5:30am and did not woke up until noon. Had lunch and relaxed until 3:30pm before going to LTF. Began my day which was much calmer than yesterday, with help from my coworker who decided to help me until 10:00pm. iPhone 6 and 6 plus |
9/10 |
Stayed after 4:30am today because of the process won't finish on time.
Found another car being pulled over on Eldridge Pkwy as I was coming
home. There seems to be a cop on SUV driving up and down since last week
every night to catch speeders. Woke up around noon after going to bed at
6:00am. Cooked a meal then worked on various assignments before leaving
home after 3:30pm. I only get to workout for 30 minutes today. Drove to
work and started my day. Moon shining as I came out from work. |
9/11 | Stayed until 4:00am because they get to finish early today. Looked up the sky and saw the moon is not round anymore already. Drove home under hazy sky, did not see any cops tonight. Come home, went to bed but somehow I woke up around 7:30am once, then I woke up around noon. Stretched my body, cooked lunch then left home around 3:30pm. The traffic was not that bad but during the school hours like yesterday. Worked out for 30 minutes then headed to to office. There was a car wreck on Cray with was at the middle of the road, looks like one car in the left lane tried to force the way in to right and ram into another car. Began my shift as usual. |
9/12 | Stayed until 4:30am, drove home. I woke up with someone knocking on the door, and at the same time, I realized the rain. It stopped around 1:00pm for first but may not be the only one. |
9/13-15 | The shift finished around 3:30am, drove home and
went to bed by 4:30am. Woke up at 9:30am to force myself adjusted to the
daylight life. It was still raining but over by 11:00am. Cooked fried
noodles for lunch, left around 1:00pm 4 State Trip - 2014 |
9/16 | Stayed at work until 4:30am, drove to Kroger for
groceries and come home. Went to bed after 5:00am, woke up around 10:00am
once but stayed in bed until noon. Stretched my body, cooked rice and did a
load of laundry. Cooked lunch then stayed until 3:30pm before heading to LTF.

9/17 | Stayed at work until 4:30am, drove home on the road where I can see a lot of rain must have fallen. My Civic is now logged 50,000 miles as I came home. Went to bed around 6:00am and woke up at noon. Another storm came around 1:00pm and lasted for one hour. Left to gym around 3:30pm and drove under rain. I spent one hour then drove to work under light shower. A few big issues over the night. Had rain of 1.81in |
9/18 | Stayed until 4:30am again, drove home and went to bed. Woke up at noon but could not get out from bed until 1:00pm. I worked on my web while I ate my lunch. Left at 3:30pm. Drove under slight rain to LTF then worked out for 1 hour before going to work. The rain was still lingering as I drive to the office and needed to walk through a couple of buildings to avoid flooded area. Another normal day. Had rain of 1.14in |
9/19 | Stayed until 4:00am, finishing up earlier than
regular day. Drove under light rain but when I park my car at Kroger it was
a thunder shower. Come home, went to bed around 5:30am. I woke up around
8:30am because of a wave of hard rain. I got up from the bed around 1:00pm,
realized the water is shut from leak neaby. Cooked rice and get ready for
the day. Water came back around 3:00pm but rusty so I gave up washing
dishes. Left at 3:30pm. Had rain of 0.93in Raining pretty bad just as I came out from grocery shopping. |
9/20 | Stayed up until 4:30am, drove home and went to
bed. I thought about getting up at 10:00am, but I woke up at 1:00pm instead.
Stretched my body and had lunch. I then headed to Memorial Park for running
6 miles. Come home around 4:30pm, Left home at 6:00pm to go to a Brazilian
restaurant. The party lasted until 10:30pm and I came home after 11:00pm.

9/21 | Woke up at 6:30am, the outside was still dark,
stretched my body. Left around 9:00am to bike at Memorial for 30 minutes
then come home to take shower and make lunch. Left at noon to head to
Minutes Maid Park for the last home game of Astros this season. The game
started with a little struggle, then the Astros began scoring big. They won
the game so I was lucky to be there. Drove to a Thai restaurant and tried
another pad thai. Stopped by at LTF for 30 minutes swim before coming home
around 9:00pm. Hoped to go bed by 11:00pm but had to stay up until midnight. The last home game of Astros this season |
9/22 | I thought I woke up on time, but the clock tells
me I woke up at 7:00am, get ready for the day and hit the road. I made it to
work at 8:30am. Stayed until 7:00pm then drove to LTF for one hour workout.
I went to Kroger but forgot to buy bananas. Cooked dinner from 9:00pm, and
went to bed by midnight. Summer is still lingering |
9/23 | Woke up at 6:00am with help from alarm clocks. It was sunny and 70F. Left to work at 7:15am and arrived on time. Spent my day without much of excitement. Left around 6:30pm for workoout at LTF. Came out, stopped by Sports Authority and Kroger (where I forgot to buy banana yesterday) before coming home. I had to follow another car because they have changed the security key which is not compatible with mine anymore. Ate bread for dinner, went to bed around 11:30pm. |
9/24 | Woke up at 6:00am, checked the temperature and
found out today is 65F. I was nice cruising up to work under sunny weather
with cool air. There was a trouble so my coworker had to leave ealier and
needed to stay until 7:00pm today. The outside was still bright when I
stepped out, but felt tired so I gave up going to Memorial Park or LTF and
drove straight home. Cooked soup for dinner, went to bed around 11:30pm
again after cooking Pad Thai. Yup, autum like morning. |
9/25 | Woke up at 6:00am, drove while enjoying cool
air, made it on time. Surprised to see rain falling just south of Houston.
Stayed until 6:30pm then headed to Memorial for a run. I scored 6 miles but
by the time the outside was dark so I finished at 8:00pm, drove to Kroger
before coming home for shower and dinner. Going to bed at midnight. It's 8:00pm and totally dark |
9/26 | Woke up at 6:00am, drove to work and
stayed until 6:30pm, I thought about going to a meeting but could not make
myself mentally so I stayed at LTF for one hour, drove home, went to bed
after reorganizing my HDD a little. Clouds |
9/27 | Woke up at 6:00am, left later than usual because
there is no scheduled shift. Worked on machinery until noon, finding out it
was raining so I have to give on biking. Drove home and cooked noodles.
Relaxed for the afternoon, thought about going to workout but decided to go
after I eat dinner with my friend. I hit the road to LTF to workout for one
hour, finished around 10:00pm and found out it was raining as I stepped

9/28 | [Mt. Ontake in Japan, exploded at summit, nearly
40 people went missing or confirmed dead] Somehow I fell sleep while browsing internet on the net, and woke up at 2:00am once, then I went back to sleep until 8:00am. Stretched my body, headed to run for 12 miles at Memorial Park. Come home around 3:00pm. Had late lunch at Souper Salad around 4:00pm, relaxed at home for the rest of the day, cooked rice and meals, another wave of rain around 9:00pm, Stayed up until 11:00pm. Total 4 loads of laundry today... Summer? |
9/29 | Woke up at 6:00am but could not get out from the bed until 7:00am, made it on time. Many issues today, including parsonal. I had to stay until 7:30pm which made me tired. The outside was already getting dark. Drove home without going to LTF. Relaxed, the going to bed after midnight. |
9/30 | The last day of September, woke up at 6:00am and headed to work on time. Another day with many issues but survived. Left there around 6:30pm, looking at the ground which must had some rain. Spent 1 hour at LTF then drove home. Hearing about the first Eblora case in Texas a little scares me. Going to bed at midnight. |
